1. Responsible Entity

Inside Namibia is operated by Floegel Consulting LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque NM 87110 USA. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, you can contact us at hello@inside-namibia.travel.

2. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to this website and to individuals who contact us or use our trip review, advisory, video call, or related digital services. We are a US company with no EU branch, but privacy laws such as the GDPR may still apply to certain processing where our services are directed to people in the EU/EEA.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect contact information such as your name and email address, itinerary and travel-planning details, messages and questions you send us, technical website usage information, cookie-consent information, and transaction-related information connected to payment and service delivery. We do not receive or store your full card details ourselves.

4. Why we process data

We process personal data to operate the website, respond to enquiries, provide and document our advisory services, process payments, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve our offer. Where applicable, processing may rely on contract-related necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests, or consent, including consent for non-essential analytics and marketing technologies.

5. Hosting and technical logs

Our site is hosted and delivered through technical service providers. In that context, server-side technical data may be processed, including IP address, request details, browser information, timestamps, and similar log information. This is necessary for site delivery, stability, troubleshooting, and security.

6. Intake, advisory, and communications data

If you request or purchase a Trip Review, call, or other advisory service, we process the information you submit to us, including your route, dates, accommodation ideas, vehicle plans, group context, and specific questions. We use this information to assess the request, provide the purchased service, communicate with you, and maintain business records related to that service.

7. Payments through Stripe

Payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe handles payment and transaction data under its own privacy and compliance framework. We only receive the information needed to identify the transaction, confirm payment status, and connect the purchase to your requested service.

8. Service providers and automation

We may use third-party providers for hosting, infrastructure, communications, analytics, payment handling, and workflow automation, including services such as Make.com for routing or processing submitted form data internally. These providers process data only to the extent reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

9. Cookies, local storage, analytics, and marketing

We use essential browser storage functions where necessary for site functionality, including saving progress in the intake flow. We also use non-essential technologies such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure usage and marketing performance. Those tools are loaded only after consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent for the future by changing your browser settings and deleting existing cookies or local storage entries where applicable.

10. International transfers

Because we are a US company and may work with service providers located in the United States or other countries outside the EU/EEA, personal data may be transferred internationally. Where required, we rely on available legal mechanisms or safeguards applicable to those transfers under relevant privacy law.

11. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including service delivery, follow-up, recordkeeping, security, dispute handling, and compliance with legal or tax obligations. Technical and analytics-related storage periods may also depend on browser settings and third-party tool configurations.

12. Your rights

If privacy law gives you specific rights, including under the GDPR where applicable, those rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to a competent supervisory authority. The exact rights available depend on the law that applies to your situation.

13. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making in the sense of Article 22 GDPR that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you in connection with our advisory services.

14. Contact

If you have privacy-related questions or want to exercise rights that apply to you, contact hello@inside-namibia.travel.
